Taylor Swift’s ex Tom, 35, will compete for best TV actor against fellow Brit Riz Ahmed, nominated for his role in The Night Of.

Colman will battle for the award for best supporting actress in a limited series or film made for television with Thandie Newton, who is nominated for Westworld, and Lena Headey from Game Of Thrones.

House star Laurie, 57, is up for best supporting actor.

He will go head to head with US actor John Lithgow, who starred as Sir Winston Churchill in Netflix drama The Crown.
